Neighbours' Night Out a Huge Success

8 July 2009: Neighbours’ Night Out was a huge success. We served over 500 neighbours with food and drink, and raised nearly $1000 for the Weston Community Coalition and the Heritage Conservation District.

Special thanks to the following:

Reptilia, Terry the Mountie, Rob Joy the childrens’ performer, Wards Funeral Home, Squibbs, Grice Chiropractic, The Real Canadian Superstore, Toronto Star, Susan Lawrence, Home Hardware, Angelo’s Garden Centre, Weston Golf and Country Club, York South Weston NDP, and of course our neighbours on Elm Street who let us use their driveway to cook and prepare.

If I’ve forgotten anyone, I apologize.

And of course thanks to the members of the Weston Community Coalition.
